Things a Little Brighter?
Posted 16/11/05

Indications in today's Scottish Sun were that things perhaps look a little brighter for Glasgow's future after the promoters meeting and this has been embellished by a post on behalf of Stewart Dickson on Easy Tiger.

The Sun reported that there had been 'many positives' from the Promoters meeting in the Midlands and that Glasgow would now have representation at next weeks BSPA Conference in Tenerife.

Just after mid-day the post on behalf of Stewart was made giving more in depth detail on the problems at the moment as they stand.

The posting seems to suggest that Ashfield is the only possibility for Glasgow to race at next season - although that is only implied from the wording - and it is also dependant on the suspension of the speedway licence being lifted.

Whilst it is not as yet the news that Glasgow fans want to hear, at least the Tigers are still fighting. There is however a long way to go as if there is to be any possibility of the licence suspension being overturned presumably a number of changes will have to be made and no doubt these will be at best costly.
