Quiz - Friday

This Friday sees the second event organised
by the new supporters group S.T.A.R.S. with a quiz night being held
at Ashfield at which members of the promotion are expected to be present.
Full details have been provided below thanks to Alan Watt and if last
months racenight is anything to go by it is an evening not to be missed.
Alan has advised: -
The Quiz Night will commence at 7.30p.m.
prompt with doors opening at 7.00p.m. Entry for the event is £1.00
with under 16's free. The entry price will also purchase you a bingo
ticket which will entitle you to participate in a game of "last
person standing" bingo - one of the strangest games of chance
ever devised.
Entry into the quiz will cost £2.00 per person and everyone
can take part. Teams will consist of a minimum of 3 persons and the
quiz will take place over 10 rounds. There will also be a Speedway
Challenge Round for the speedway buffs where some old scores can be
settled. There will be a charge of £1.00 per person for this
round.
Our quiz master for the night has also promised a "surprise"
speedway competition so is not too late to start "swotting".
There will again be a Prize Raffle with some great prizes and the
chance to buy some Speedway "goodies" which would make a
great Christmas present.
Full Bar facilities will be available.
Finally, the Glasgow Promotion have indicated that they will be participating
in the quiz night and time will be given over to them with a view
to them updating us on the outcome of the B.S.P.A. Conference and
recent developments at Ashfield.
So, if you want to have a fun night and be first to hear the latest
news on the Tigers there is only one place to be on Friday night!"

It promises to be a good evening appealing to speedway and
non speedway fans alike whilst raising funds for the Tigers and hopefully
as many as possible will again turn out to back S.T.A.R.S. and Glasgow
Speedway.
