Leigh Lanham will be hoping its 4th time
lucky for his testimonial meeting tomorrow night which includes Shane
Parker in the line up.
Its now a year since the first scheduled date which was rained
off as were the next two attempts to run the meeting. Shane has naturally
been scheduled to ride in all four!
Competition will be stiff with riders of the calibre of Mark
Loram, Gary Havelock, Jason Crump and Scott Nicholls scheduled to
appear in the twelve man field.
Another event on the night which may affect Glasgow is that
Ronnie Russell has confirmed he will be making an 'important announcement'
regarding Arena Essex
to the crowd during Leigh's meeting. Whether a clever way of getting
as many people as possible through the gate for Leigh or an attempt
to steal a little of his thunder from the night remains to be seen
but speculation has been rife that Arena are considering dropping
back to the Premier League.
