A Busy Weekend for David McAllan
by Gordon Gilbey, Posted 08/10/05

Glasgow asset David McAllan was in action last night riding for Boston in the CL KO Cup semi final 1st leg against Mildenhall at the Norfolk Arena.

He scored a creditable 10+1 from 6 as the Barracuda Braves went down 41-51. He was unlucky to finish last in the final nominated heat when his bike spluttered to a stop before kicking back to life.

David is obviously going to have a busy weekend as he guests for Sheffield as a replacement for the injured Paul Cooper at Workington (one of his former tracks) tomorrow night before returning to race for Boston twice on Sunday. Boston travel to West Row in the afternoon for the 2nd leg of the KO cup semi and then race against Armadale in the evening at King's Lynn in the semi final of the Conference Trophy.

While I'm sure we all wish David well I think it's safe to say many of us would like to see the Devils progress and finish with a flurry and a Conference Trophy Final place against Stoke Spitfires.
