Adam Crowned Scottish
Junior Champion
Posted 19/10/05
In addition to the Heathersfield Golden Helmet on Sunday, at the end
of the meeting the top four Scottish riders competed for the Scottish
Junior Championship of 2005.
Many in the sparse crowd felt that Sean Stoddart would make
up for his disappointment in the first meeting and lay claim to the
title but Adam McKinna had other ideas.
Having been quietly effective during the first meeting, Adam
made a very good gate and despite Sean Stoddart trying for all four
laps to make in-roads Adam held on to claim the title and the accompanying
George Beaton Memorial Trophy.
Gary Beaton finished third with Andrew Tully in fourth.
Congratulations Adam!
