2005 Glasgow Scoring
Record
Adam has a good speedway pedigree, his father not only being an
ex-rider but also ex-promoter albeit for only a few meeting. He
first started riding in 1999, rode in under 15 exhibitions and also
represented GB at U15 level. Despite having had a few spins at Armadale,
he became part of Swindon Sprockets squad and made his debut for
them the day after his 15th birthday, winning his first ever race.
After changes at Swindon he rode at CL or CT level for a few teams,
though mostly Mildenhall, and was unlucky to miss out on a large
part of last season due to injury.
His chance at Glasgow came a few weeks after he guested against
them as part of a Workington side and Adam has justified the Glasgow
promotions faith in him.
In addition to speedway Adam is an all round sportsman having taken
part in tennis, badminton, football, BMX and grass track and certainly
seems to have the attitude needed to succeed. He is also a qualified
to referee junior football matches so if Partick Thistle are ever
short one week Michael Max knows who they can call on!
