Sheffield Meeting Off

Following heavy rain all day in Sheffield, the decision was taken at 5pm to call off the PT clash between Glasgow and Sheffield at Owlerton.

Our traveler down in Sheffield advises it was the only sensible decision with persistent heavy rain ever since they arrived. Apparently, there were also doubts about how the track would hold up to rain after a weekend of stock car racing.

No date is currently known for the re-staging.

Glasgow will next be in action against Stoke at Ashfield on Sunday.
