Robert's First Elite Outing

Robert rode his first Elite league fixture this evening turning out at reserve for his new doubling up team Poole at their home track.

His reception appears to have been mixed with a few Poole fans having a dig at Robert on their forum after the youngster failed to score from his three rides.

However although he found it difficult, particularly in his opening heat, to adjust to the track, he did lead Lewis Bridger for a short spell in his second ride.

Given the opportunity and time to settle, most still believe as we do that Robert can settle into the shared reserve berth.
