Fours Meeting Off

This evening's Premier League Fours event at Workington has fallen victim to the same fate as the Premier League Pairs. Torrential rain overnight and this morning in the Workington area have resulted in the meeting being postponed.

At the moment the date being mentioned for the re-scheduling - although still to be confirmed - is Saturday 7th October which is the day before the rescheduled pairs at Glasgow.

Although it will possibly boost the crowds for both events with people traveling for a weekend of speedway rather than just one meeting or the other, it will be heavy going on those riding in both events and perhaps give a bit of an advantage on the Sunday to the Pairs who are NOT also competing in the Fours.
