With
the Anniversary talk in only 4 days away, Derek Smith of STARs
has advised how everyone can enjoy the event AND take part
in the auction which includes a number of very impressive
items. Derek states: -
STARs are now also able to
announce that there is some great news for anyone unable to
attend on the night ... you will still be able to take part
AND be able to enjoy the whole event!
The whole evening's proceedings
will be captured on film (courtesy of Brian Logan's 'First
Bend Action Videos') and will be available as a memento on
DVD / video format priced just £7.50 ... everyone will
be able to see the moment Steve Lawson was officially presented
with his 'Greatest Ever Tiger' trophy, plus listen to all
questions and answers on the night!
Even better ... anyone unable
to attend on the night can still take part in the live memorabilia
auction (see details below) simply by submitting their bid(s)
in advance of Friday evening!
So if there is one or more auction items which catch your
eye, all you have to do is email / text Derek Smith [derek@glastigers.co.uk
/ 07919 166611] before noon on Friday 8th December, and quote
your name, the item(s) and your highest bid .... if you're
successful, STARs will retain the auction item and advise
you of your success over next weekend.
Let your speedway friends
know, there may be a prized Christmas present in these items
for them!
Of course, only those lucky
enough to be in attendance will be able to rub shoulders with
track stars of yesteryear as well as current ... and some
of those aren't even in the guest panel!
The specially invited guest
panellists are of course THE major highlight of the night
.... supporters will have the chance to listen to, meet, be
photographed with and question each of Steve Lawson, Andy
Reid, Kelvin Tatum and Hans Andersen!
As well as several question
sessions with the panel, there are lots of further side attractions
and features on the night .... these include (in no particular

team building news by the Glasgow promotion (with prospect
of a confirmed latest signing)

Still time to make certain
that you can be there! Remember you can call Colin/Mandy Mackie

to prepay your ticket which can be collected on the night,
this would also allow you to gain entry to a special prize
draw exclusive to ticket holders. Otherwise, admission will
be possible at the door on the night (tickets £10 inclusive
of buffet).
Event starts at 7pm ....
with star guests due to be introduced around 7:30 .... please
come along (why not also bring someone with you!), you'll
have a terrific time and be able to say "I was there"!
