Fifth Signing Anticipated at STARs Event

Glasgow have confirmed that they hope to announce the name of the fifth signing for 2007 ahead of tonight's STARs event at Firhill.

The only clues that have been given are that he has not previously ridden for Glasgow Tigers and that he is not a reserve.

It will still be possible to pay at the door for tonight's events but anyone planning to do so are advised to get there early as tickets are limited.

Meantime it has transpired that the rider Glasgow hoped to name last weekend who pulled out of the deal was Ben Powell, the young Australian who now has British citizenship.
