After all the speculation last week in the press that James Cockle was expected to sign for Mildenhall, he appears to have a change of heart and has today been named by Sheffield as their final signing for 2007.

James will initially go into the Sheffield side in the main body of the team as previous signings Paul Cooper and another ex-Tiger Jamie Birkinshaw have averages currently below his.
