Trent
Injured in Aus

Trent
Leverington's hopes of a full Aussie season under his belt
this winter were dealt a severe blow this weekend after a
crash in the Dave Booth Tribute Meeting at the Gold Coast
left him nursing a broken bone in his wrist.
The
top two of Crump and Smith had gone through to the final with
Trent in the semi to decide the other two places alongside
John Oliver, Josh Grajczonek and Kozza Smith (previously known
as Korey Williams).
Oliver
led from the start but Trent looked certain to claim the other
final slot when coming off the final bend in second place
he locked slightly and Kozza Smith collided with his back
wheel, sending Trent into the fence.
Although
after treatment on the track Trent walked back to the pits,
a visit to hospital later on confirmed he had broken a bone
in his wrist and he is expected to be in plaster for a month.
Get
well soon Trent.
