The search for a reserve to cover for Adam until he is fit enough to return to the team goes on after two Edinburgh youngsters, Sean Stoddart and Andrew Tully, were confirmed as unavailable due to signing for other Premier League teams according to today's Scottish Sun.

Both youngsters were apparently in the frame with Edinburgh choosing between them for their final reserve berth. However, Glasgow have been advised that the youngster not picked will be signing for Berwick.

The search continues although it is hoped to have someone in place sooner rather than later.

One name that has cropped up on message boards is that of Richie Dennis. He has apparently decided not to take the step up to PL at the moment but would be keen on guest appearances. However, he has signed for Scunthorpe at CL level and this may prove prohibitive as they are also a Sunday track.

With fewer Conference League sides than last year, Adam's injury may also cost him a CL place at least for the early part of the year. Many of the CL sides are nearing completion and there are still a number of riders without places.
