Kids
Go Free in 2006
Posted 14/02/06
The
Official Glasgow
website have today announced that children under 12 will
be admitted FREE to Ashfield in 2006 when accompanied by a
paying adult.
Its
an ambitious gamble by the promotion to try and entice more
people through the gates. It may seem strange for a promotion
who lost so much last season to undertake this initiative
but if it means a family of four who had to pick and chose
their meeting last season are able to come more regularly
it is one worth taking.
The
kids are also the fans of the future and if the gamble pays
off you also have increased atmosphere which can only be good
for the club.
As
with all other initiatives, it will need promoting to give
it a chance of paying off and it is potentially a good marketing
tool.
Anyone
who has already purchased a season ticket for a child under
12 will have their money refunded.
It
should be noted that the offer is limited to ONE child per
paying adult.
