Ex Tigers Linked to Berwick

Courtesy of the Unofficial Berwick Bandits forum, an interesting takeover bid for Berwick Speedway from an ex Tigers promotion has failed.

The article, which can be read here, tells how Brian Sands has had a five figure offer for Berwick speedway refused by Peter Waite.

Mr Sands had hoped to take a back seat if his offer had been accepted and delegate the day to day running of Berwick speedway to Bob Sneddon, pairing up as they did in their Glasgow days.
