Its understood that the all important sound tests to be carried out at Ashfield are scheduled for 8th and 15th January, weather permitting.

'Invited' Scottish riders will be asked to assist the promotion with the behind closed doors tests although whether they will be able to have a few laps as part of the process or whether it will be a case of four bikes on track revving up at the tapes is not clear.

Fingers crossed that the tests, if they do go ahead, are favourable.
