Kauko Misses Workington

It has been confirmed that Glasgow will be without the in form Kauko Nieminen when they travel down to Derwent Park on Saturday evening.

It is a blow for the Tigers with Kauko obviously knowing the circuit very well but Kauko is due to ride for Finland in the World Cup and they have confirmed that he is required to report 24 hours before hand as is normal practice.

As covered in his interview after last Sundays meeting, Kauko had been keen to fly out after riding at Workington but his plea has been rejected.

As Kauko is not top of the Tigers averages the only option for the Tigers is to go rider replacement with all bar Shane Parker eligible to take a ride.
