Reserves
Line Up at Poole
Posted 19/07/06
Robert
Ksiezak and James Cockle will be braving the heat on the South
Coast of England this evening as both are scheduled to take
part in the Young Guns event at Poole.
Poole
have in the past been criticised for their perceived lack
of encouragement of young British riders but have taken steps
to change that perception this season with regular second
half racing. With the World Cup meaning there are no Elite
League fixtures this week, Poole have taken the opportunity
of putting on this meeting and invited mostly young Premier
League riders along to compete.
Many
Poole fans believe it is an opportunity for them to view potential
reserves for next season but it will also provide injured
Poole rider Krzysztof Kasprzak an opportunity to return from
injury.
James
and Robert will have their work cut out as it appears to be
a very strong field assembled for the meeting at Wimborne
Road. Most premier league clubs are represented although the
majority of those riders are from the main body of their respective
teams rather than the reserve berths. King's Lynn and Mildenhall
riders obviously miss out as they are scheduled to ride this
evening in the league whilst Workington's Ritchie Hawkins
was originally in the line up but is expected to miss the
meeting due to the head knock received on Saturday.
The
final line up is still to be confirmed but, from the original
release on the Official Poole Website it is expected to be
along the following lines: -
- Tommy
Allen (Rye House)
- Adam
Allott (unattached)
- Ricky
Ashworth (Sheffield)
- James
Cockle (Glasgow)
- Jason
Doyle (Isle of Wight)
- Chris
Holder (Isle of Wight)
- Krzysztof
Kasprzak (Poole)
- Chris Kerr (Redcar)
- Nikoli Klindt (unattached)
- Robert Ksiezak (Glasgow)
- Chris
Schramm (Newport)
- Tomas
Suchanek (Redcar)
- Danny
Warwick (Berwick)
- Carl
Wilkinson (Newport)
- Ben
Wilson (Sheffield)
Good Luck to Robert and James for this evening.
