Shane Claims Second

Shane Parker claimed a very impressive second place in tonight's Bordernapolis meeting at Berwick. He was only beaten by one rider on the night - eventual winner Todd Wiltshire who went through the entire meeting unbeaten.

Todd finished top of the qualifiers with 12 points seeding him straight through to the final along with Shane who finished on 11. Their dominance is highlighted by the fact that the next top scorer was on 8 points.

Shane was involved in some good racing throughout the meeting including in the final itself where the first three provided some superb racing for the Berwick crowd. Unfortunately though Shane was unable to exact his revenge on Todd in the final and had to settle for second with Simon Stead in third and last year's winner Adrian Rymel fourth.

Glasgow asset George Stancl had a very poor night at a track he usually does well on, finishing bottom of the pack with only one point from his four qualifying heats.
