Tigers sole representative in the Northern Counties Championship, Shane Parker, will be hoping its third time lucky in getting his season started tomorrow night at Workington.

Shane was due to ride in the Ashley Jones Memorial which fell victim to the weather twice this week and the weather forecast for Cumbria tomorrow does not look too promising.

If the meeting does go ahead, it will provide a tough test for Shane with the opposition comprising of the 2006 Comets 1-7 along with PL and El guests including Simon Stead and Rory Schlein.
