As well as the first home meeting of the season, this Sunday sees the introduction of the new smoking legislation in Scotland and the Official Website has announced that as a result smoking will only be permitted on the back straight.

It has already caused quite a bit of discussion as Glasgow appear to have extended the actual legislation and many are questioning why it appears the first bend is to be made a non-smoking area.

With the first day of the smoking legislation co-inciding with the Glasgow-Edinburgh derby there could be a few nervy people around Ashfield on Sunday.
