This week's Speedway Star is the annual bumper edition giving predictions for 2006, club stats and directions for travel.

It means that there is not the usual weekly 'gossip' but it covers all three leagues plus GP's, Grasstrack and International speedway.

Glasgow have been tipped to finish 6th in this years preview although Len Silver still can't resist having a dig at the signing of Danny Bird in naming us his 'surprise' team of the season commenting that 'history suggests he's a very expensive rider'. Obviously Mr Silver has missed all the debate about the mystery sponsor.
