Heat 14 at Armadale tonight was a costly one for the Tigers who not only were on the wrong end of a ludicrous decision to award a heat only entering its second lap but more upsettingly saw Kauko Nieminen pick up an injury that could keep him out of the team for a while.

Kauko was unable to avoid fallen team mate Robert Ksiezak in heat 14 and collided heavily with the fence.

Early indications are that Kauko has once again dislocated his shoulder, an injury that proved troublesome for him before. Such an injury could keep him out for a number of weeks if confirmed.

It goes without saying that we wish Kauko well for a speedy recovery.
