Kauko Back With a Bang

Kauko Nieminen made his comeback from injury in Sweden this evening with an impressive performance for Griparna as they defeated Lejonen by 51-45.

Kauko was scheduled to ride in heat 1 but we understand he did not make the tapes and therefore scored a 0. However, he came out in heat 7 and comfortably beat the opposition - including someone called Leon Madsen - to win the heat.

He followed this up with a win in heat 10, beating Stefan Ekberg both here and again in heat 14 when he claimed his third win of the evening.

The meeting went down to a last heat decider and Kauko settled in behind team mate Patrick Hougaard giving Griparna the win and Kauko a points tally of 11+1.
