Two
Out of Three for Pairs
Posted 29/05/06
There
will be a slight change this season in the way riders are
selected for the pairs at Ashfield on 18th June with the qualifying
clubs able to elect the two riders to compete from their top
three in the averages.
It
should make the meeting more competitive with teams able to
choose the best two for the track instead of being forced
to use a rider who has Ashfield as a 'bogey' track. It also
gives Newcastle the chance of tracking Stancl and Grieves
for the event.
All
bar four of the PL clubs will take part in the event and early
indications are that the four teams who will miss out are
Isle of Wight, Newport, Berwick and Redcar.
