Tactical Ride Poll in Speedway Star

For those who have missed it, the Speedway Star has been running a poll on the Tactical Ride rule over the past week and for those who wish to take part you have until 5pm on Monday 6th November to register your vote.

They are asking people to vote by e-mail to the following addresses: -

• in favour of Tactical Ride rule e-mail voteyes@pinegen.co.uk
• against Tactical ride rule e-mail voteno@pinegen.co.uk

It is also possible for those without access to vote by writing either 'Vote Yes' or 'Vote no' on the back of an envelope and sending it to Speedway Star Poll, Pinegen Ltd, 95 Brighton Road, Surbiton, Surrey, KT6 5NF.

Just what the poll will achieve is open to question and it only allows for a yes or no response and does not take into account any alternative formats that could be introduced but as voting is effectively free - unless you go down the postal route - it is a chance for those with access to the Star or knowledge of its contents to have a say.
