Frankow
No Go for 2007

Today's
Scottish Newspapers confirmed today what many felt would be
the case anyhow - Mariusz Frankow is not an option for the
Tigers in 2007.
It
had been rumoured in some circles that Frankow may decide
not to ride in Poland next season and that he had decided
that the time was right for him to try UK Speedway. However,
he has apparently now agreed terms with a Polish side which
effectively rules him out of consideration as Polish speedway
runs on a Sunday.
Elsewhere,
it is also reported in the Scottish Sun that Glasgow will
ask Reading about Danny Bird's availability for 2007 but fully
expect to be told he is in their plans for their Elite League
side next season. Again no great surprise to Tigers fans as
everyone knows Danny wants to try Elite League Speedway.
Team
selections for all the clubs in the Premier League will no
doubt step up a gear after next weekend's BSPA conference
once the points limit is known although Rye House have already
announced they will field Adam Roynon and Tai Woofinden next
season whilst Newcastle have announced that Christian Henry
will be in their side.
