The Messiah Returns!

The news that many Glasgow fans have been waiting on came this afternoon when it was confirmed that captain Shane Parker has signed on the dotted line and will return for the Tigers in 2007.

Supporters had started to worry as there have been comments from the promotion for a few weeks now which indicated they were close to a deal but the news on the signing never seemed to follow.

Now it has been confirmed, Shane will renew his partnership with George Stancl as heat leaders for the Tigers next year as the team takes shape.

Not only is it good from a team point of view but Shane also did a power of work for the Tigers on the promotion of Glasgow Speedway last season often traveling up a day or two early to attend fete's, schools and open days in the Glasgow area.
