No Classic for 2006

With no information on the line up coming out through the week, it's not really come as much of a surprise that this Sunday's hoped for Classic meeting has been called off.

Again the problem appears to have been getting riders to appear and Glasgow have not been the only victims of this with Mildenhall already having called off their planned event this coming Sunday. Glasgow captain Shane Parker was struggling to make the field due to his groin injury and Robert Ksiezak would have been missing as he is due to set off home to Australia this weekend.

There may still be action this Sunday with an opportunity now for the Heathersfield Golden Helmet competition to go ahead with those involved currently trying to assemble a 16 rider field.
