2007 - Its Ashfield!

In an interview at the end of this afternoon's Junior meeting at Ashfield, co-promoter Alan Dick announced the news that everyone has been waiting to hear - Glasgow will be riding in the 2007 season at Ashfield.

With Glasgow's notice period to leave Ashfield due to run out in July 2007, there had been considerable doubt over the Tigers home for next year. Alan was able to confirm today however that after a lot of hard work by the promotion and from our landlords Ashfield FC, it had been confirmed that the anticipated sale of the land for housing would not be happening next year and that the Tigers would be able to race their for the entire season - and perhaps even beyond.

Alan emphasised that the promotion were grateful to the football club for working hard with them to resolve the position for next season.
