Injury
Worries for Tigers
Posted 03/09/06
Not
only do Glasgow go into this afternoon's meeting against Edinburgh
without Danny Bird courtesy of the BSPA ruling, but they also
have no fewer than THREE of the remaining team less than 100%
fit.
Robert
Ksiezak is nursing a back injury sustained in his heat two
fall at Edinburgh on Friday which is causing him quite a bit
of pain.
Fellow
reserve James Cockle is also suffering after injuring himself
in the heat four incident on Friday and struggling for the
remainder of the meeting with a knock to his left arm and
shoulder.
The
final member of the injured trio is Lee Dicken who again is
feeling the after effects of an incident at Armadale on Friday
night, in Lee's case in heat 12 which was to be his final
race of the night.
All
three riders have indicated that they will be riding through
the pain barrier this afternoon as Tiggers attempt to complete
the 2006 League campaign undefeated at home.
