Belle
Vue Saga Continues
Posted 15/09/06
The
rumours regarding Glasgow Promoter Gordon Pairman's bid to
buy Belle Vue continue this week in the Speedway Star with
their article including the statement that Stewart Dickson
has been sounded out about joining him despite Mr Pairman
already categorically refuting that rumour on Easy
Tiger earlier this week.
Things
still seem to be very much in the balance with both sides
giving a varying account of how the situation arose but 27th
September still appears to be the deadline day for any decision.
Whether
Gordon will continue to be involved at Glasgow next season
appears to be very much in the balance with a quote attributed
to him in the Speedway Star stating that he has 'not made
any firm decisions about my involvement with the Tigers in
2007.' However a quote from current Belle Vue owner Tony Mole
states he believes the purchase is 'more likely than not to
occur'.

full wording of the Speedway Star article can be read here.
