Tigers in Action this Weekend
Posted 22/09/06

With no league or play off action this weekend due to the Premier League Riders Championship at Sheffield on Sunday, some Glasgow riders have taken advantage of offers to ride elsewhere over the next couple of days.

As previously advised, Robert Ksiezak will be guesting at reserve for Workington this evening as they take on Edinburgh at Armadale.

Meanwhile Danny Bird will be in action in the Matt Read Farewell meeting down at Somerset in a high quality field but with the onus obviously being to raise as much money as possible for Matt. Danny is expected to be riding at number 4 in the Matt's Masters side against Readie's Racers.

Tomorrow evening, Glasgow's other representative in the PLRC, Shane Parker, will be riding in the Paul Clews testimonial at Stoke.

At the same time the popular Kauko Nieminen will make a return to his old track as he competes in the Cumberland Classic at Workington.

Good Luck to all
