Lee Rides for Hull Again

Glasgow were represented in the Northern Fours at Berwick last night with Lee Dicken renewing his Hull connections to turn out for a Hull select and become the fourth Glasgow rider in action in various Saturday evening meetings.

The four team tournament consisted of home side Berwick, who were eventual winners, an Edinburgh select - with Derek Sneddon the only Edinburgh rider! - Isle of Wight and a Hull Select.

In his opening ride, Lee managed a third place despite embarrassingly forgetting to put his fuel on at the start. With the Islanders rider suffering an engine failure on the start line however, he had time to get going to collect third place. He followed this up with another two third places and a second in his final ride to finish up as Hull's second top scorer.
