Shane at Swindon

Shane Parker was in action this evening after stepping in at the last minute to replace Jason Lyons in the Mike Broadbank Benefit Meeting at Swindon.

Unfortunately the rain meant it was not the best of meetings and indeed it was called off after heat 11 because of the weather.

Riding at number 5 for an Australian select, Shane recorded three third places with most of the riders not taking any risks on the tricky surface. he actually only beat one rider on the night, fellow Australian Steve Johnston in his first race with Masters suffering an engine failure in Shane's second race and his third outing in heat 9 being three riders only.
