Will has more or less retired from the sport now although is still currently listed as an asset.

He was very popular at Glasgow with his never say die attitude although his hot temper did sometimes land him in scrapes. His best season was in 1999 with Glasgow but he has never been able to reproduce the form that saw him finish that season with a 6.28 average.

Will had a go at ice speedway, representing Britain, and married during the interval at an ice speedway meeting in America.

Away from speedway, he is into kick boxing and was an accomplished skier at schools level.
