Robert
Confirmed as Tiger's Asset

Tigers fans have received a major boost prior to the
start of the season with the news that Robert Ksiezak is now a full
Glasgow asset.
Tigers had previously enquired about Robert's availability
but the deal seemed to be dead in the water. However behind the scenes,
Gordon Pairman kept working away and the news broke this morning that
the popular young Australian would as a result be joining Glasgow
permanently.
The move is certain to be popular with Tigers fans and
the rider himself has made no secret of his desire to make his move
to Glasgow permanent. It also gives the Tigers depleted asset base
a boost and shows the promotions continued commitment to the club.
With Gordon's involvement, it has been written into
the deal that should - or perhaps it should read when - Robert is
ready to step up to the Elite League, Belle Vue will have first call
on his services. The Belle Vue press release quotes Gordon as saying:-
“I think is a great deal
all round. Robert wanted to ride alongside Shane Parker, Edinburgh
have been paid a fair price, Glasgow have an additional asset and
Belle Vue have first refusal on a rider who has the ability and attitude
to go a long way.
“Monday is not a regular Premier League
race night so I hope Robert will make regular trips to Belle Vue,
especially as his friend and fellow Australian rider, Arlo Bugeja,
will be staying in Manchester with Lee Smethills, who is also riding
for Glasgow this season.”
Robert is expected to formally sign his contract
at the GTSSC
Race Night at Firhill on Saturday night.
Welcome 'home' Robert and well done to the
promotion on completing the deal.
