Premier 4TT Washed Out

The weather was the winner in this afternoon's programmed 4TT with the meeting being called off a short time before its official start time.

Persistent rain which was forecast to continue all day, took its toll on the track and also any car parking facilities and left the organisers with no option but to call the meeting off. There was criticism from many who had made the long trek to Peterborough that it had not been called off earlier and that admission monies were taken and supporters allowed into the stadium when the weather and forecast made the event look extremely unlikely.

The date for the rescheduling is Sunday July 8th. This was a date Glasgow had reserved for any possible future KO Cup tie so will not cause the Glasgow Promotion any re-arrangement headaches!
