This Weekend's
Teams
(Posted

With meetings home and away against both Redcar and
Edinburgh this weekend, there are a few team changes for all three
sides from the norm.
At Redcar on Thursday night, Jason Lyons of Birmingham
guests for the Tigers whilst Redcar will operate rider replacement
for Matt Tresarrieu. the Bears did have injury concerns over Gary
Havelock and James Grieves but both have been declared fit to ride.
One of those injury worries, James Grieves, will swap
race jackets on Friday night as he takes the guest booking for Glasgow
in the Scottish Cup at Armadale. Edinburgh meantime are expected to
use rider replacement for the injured Andrew Tully and have called
on the services of Paul Clews of Newcastle and Redcar's Dan Giffard
to ride in the reserve slots.
Moving on to Sunday, and Jason Lyons returns again to
guest in place of Shane for both meetings. Redcar are expected to
be without Josh Auty again as his Conference League team Scunthorpe
require him to ride in their meeting against Scunthorpe. If they are
unsuccessful in persuading Scunthorpe to change their mind, the only
option open to them is to use a Conference League guest. Nothing has
been announced on this front which makes it seem likely Redcar are
still trying to persuade Scunthorpe to allow him to ride at Ashfield.
Rider replacement will once again be used for Tresarrieu.
For Edinburgh, Dan Giffard will again be riding at reserve
meaning he will also be doing two meetings on the day. They cannot
call on Paul Clews again however as he is in action with Newcastle
at Brough Park and they are understood to have instead enlisted the
services of Arlo Bugeja.
