Injuries
Deplete Tigers

Tigers were depleted on Sunday afternoon by injuries
to two riders, with Craig Watson confirmed as having been riding with
a broken shoulder and Robert Ksiezak suffering a head knock in his
heat 9 tumble in the first meeting of the afternoon.
Wato had taken some stick from some people over the
weekend for his performance at Edinburgh - a track he doesn't actually
go well at anyhow! - and eyebrows were raised at the way he pulled
out of an opening bend tussle with James Grieves in the Redcar meeting.
However after being withdrawn from the second meeting
and sent to hospital, Wato returned with x-rays which proved that
he had a broken shoulder, probably received in his crash during the
Redcar meeting on the 23rd September, and had indeed ridden the three
meetings with the injury.
His season will now be over and we wish him well for
a speedy recovery.
Robert was involved in the unfortunate heat 9 pile up
with Chris Kerr and Dan Giffard, his head being clipped by Dan Giffard
who made a sterling effort to avoid the Glasgow rider.
Sensibly however with it being a head knock, Robert
was withdrawn from the second meeting against Edinburgh. Hopefully
he will be back in time for next weekends double header and again
we wish him a speedy recovery.
