David McAllan Update

David's mum has taken time this morning to post the following update on various speedway message boards on David's injury.

David has a fractured vertebrae in his lower back, and was in the Glasgow Royal A&E until 10 pm last night - He was then transferred to a Ward .

His condition is being monitored and the Doctor said he may need an operation. If so they may transfer him to The Spinal Unit at the Southern General.

We would like to thank everyone for their concern and good wishes

It has since been stated on the Official site that David will have an operation this morning (Monday) to attend to a floating piece of bone that is pressing on a nerve.

With some internet forums concentrating on the 'did Morris mean it or didn't he' argument, at this stage we are of the opinion that it is far more important to concentrate on David and his family and wish him a speedy recovery, other discussions can wait.
