David McAllan Update Tues PM

With thanks to the Official Glasgow Website, I have been passed a copy of the latest press release on David's condition to post and it reads as follows:-

David McAllan has made some positive progress on Tuesday. The 28 year old rider has expressed his delight that he feels significantly better than he did on Monday although is aware that there is still a long road ahead as he strives for a full recovery.

David was able today to move all limbs a little more today, albeit a little slowly, but as yet does not have full feeling back into these areas. The medics have confirmed that the crash did not damage the spinal cord but there is still some nerve damage which we hope will correct itself in the coming period. It is hoped at some point tomorrow that David may be able to sit up.

A further bulletin will be issued at the appropriate time.

In the meantime should anybody wish to send messsages of goodwill they can do so either by mail at the stadium or via e-mail.
