Michael Coles

With all the focus on Sunday naturally on the well being of the three riders injured in three separate horrific looking accidents, Michael Coles last meeting and race at Premier League level almost went unnoticed.

Colesy stated at Edinburgh a few weeks ago that he did not see himself racing at Premier League after this season although there is a chance he may do some Conference racing next year.

When Tigers brought in Michael it wasn't necessarily the most popular signing from the fans point of view but Michael was willing to step in and help out the Tigers at very short notice. When many others might have called it a day and walked away, Michael kept his word and rode for the Tigers for the remainder of the season. As with most of his time in speedway, his commitment could never be questioned.
