Craig Watson was in action for Newcastle tonight as they took on Rye House at Hoddesdon tonight.

He came in as a guest for the injured Christian Henry, riding at number 1, and ended up as Newcastle's top scorer with 9 points. This was made up of two race wins and two third places - one whilst on a TR.

Craig also gave Glasgow fans a bit of a fright in heat 13 when he lifted on the backstraight and came off heavily. After a short delay however he was back on his feet and walking back to the pits. He was excluded from the re-run but two heats later won heat 15.
