Brummies to Return in October

Today's Scottish Daily Record carries a small item that states the Premier League meeting against Birmingham, called off due to rain last Sunday, will not now take place until October.

The Glasgow promotion had hoped that it would have been possible to accommodate the Brummies this weekend although it is not clear whether the intention was to run a double header or to ask another club to switch fixture dates.

Whatever the reason, it was not possible to do so and therefore this weekends meetings against Redcar and Stoke will go ahead as planned.

Birmingham are still in with a chance of finishing in the top four and with the cut off date being 26th September they would be keen to complete as many fixtures as possible before that date.
