Parker Out, Wato Doubtful

It will come as no great surprise to those at yesterday's meeting that Shane Parker will miss tonight's clash with Stoke at Ashfield although the possibility that Craig Watson may miss this evening might not have been foreseen.

Craig took a hefty thump when he came off in heat 13 and although he came out and basically won the meeting for Glasgow with a tenacious ride in heat 15 to secure second place, he did so with hand and arm injuries. He also admitted to feeling slightly queasy after the meeting.

Shane, and James Grieves who was involved in the heat 3 spill with him, were both very lucky to come out of the accident so lightly. Shane injured his arm and leg in the crash and also took a head knock. He will be replaced in tonight's line up by Ricky Ashworth, who scored 11 from 5 in his last outing at Ashfield for Sheffield.
