Parker
Out of PLRC

With Shane Parker forced to withdraw from the forthcoming
weekend's PLRC at Swindon, Tigers fans will have to wait until the
end of the week to find out who will be representing the Stripes in
the event.
Next in line is Craig Watson but although he will no
doubt fancy his chances in the event at the Blunsdon track, he too
was injured during the Redcar meeting. The
Official Website has indicated that he will make a decision on
Friday as to whether he is fit to ride.
Therefore Trent Leverington is on stand by in case Wato
doesn't make it. Trent himself is only just back from a short absence
following a head knock and pelvic injuries - received AT Redcar.
Whether its Craig or Trent, they will have the backing
of a vocal Glasgow support with the Supporters Club taking a coach
load down on the Saturday night for an overnight stay before Sunday's
meeting.
We are fortunate in that we have riders of the calibre
of Craig and Trent to step in if need be but you have to feel sorry
for Shane who must surely have felt he was in with a shout at the
title. Perhaps Craig or Trent can let him see it when they bring it
back home!
