David returns to Glasgow for 2007 after not only holding down the difficult no 2 position for last season but also increasing his average. This was despite the reserve grading's rules meaning that he did not have the luxury of dropping down if things had not been going well at any stage of the season.

Along with Lee Dicken, David Meldrum and Jamie Birkinshaw, David has been given dispensation to ride as a reserve at the start of this season and will form one half of what must surely be the most experienced starting reserve pairing in the Premier League.

He is a very honest rider, another of those who gives his all and although he realistically will not reach the heady heights when it comes to speedway he is a very good team man to have on board and is always willing to chat - just ask Michael Max!

Undoubtedly the most popular Monarchs fan at Ashfield, for the second year running David was one of the first riders slotted in to the following season's 1-7 and a very popular choice to return to the Stripes.
