Lee Scores 2+1

Lee Dicken scored 2+1 from 5 rides for Berwick against the Isle of Wight at Smallbrook this evening.
It wasn't the best of starts for Lee as he was hit with an engine failure in his opening ride whilst comfortably sitting in third place.
In the early stages of the meeting the track looked a little dodgy and resulted in several instances of riders locking up unexpectedly. Lee's second race in heat 5 saw Lee suffer badly from this, locking up at the end of the third lap allowing Paul Fry - who had locked up there himself two laps earlier - through into third place.
Lee was out again in heat 7 and gave the Islanders a display of his never say die attitude. He missed the gate and was left at the back but chased and harried Andrew Bargh for three laps before getting the drive to go round the outside of him towards the end of the third lap to secure third place.
Doyle came in as a TS alongside Lee in heat 8 and after being outgated by the Islanders, Lee quickly moved aside to let his team mate through to give chase. It was of benefit to Doyle and Berwick as he managed to pass Sweetman and claim second spot but Lee was unable to mount a challenge as a result and finished at the rear.
His final outing was in a rain soaked heat 11 when he once again claimed third spot ahead of Andrew Bargh, this time from the gate as conditions deteriorated.
